Many IBEW brothers and sisters become members of the Union Sportsmen’s Alliance. The USA brings union sportsmen and women together for fun events based on mutual interests, but it also brings us together for good. Such as the United Sportsmen’s Alliance: Work Boots on the Ground project.
IBEW Hour Power recently had the opportunity to follow a team of USA members as they embarked on a good deed, completing a boardwalk to help make 9 miles of trails through the Trinity River Wildlife Refuge that much more accessible. The workers donated their weekends, time, and expertise in order to work towards making this project a success.
This project was a collaboration of the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, the Union Sportsmen’s Alliance, the IBEW, and a number of different unions who each brought their skills and expertise to the job each day.
