2012 IBEW RIVER GORGE RIDE


Food, fun and brotherhood – the new IBEW River Gorge Ride, in Charleston, West Virginia, is sure to have it all. Make sure you mark your calendars for the ride on Saturday, July 21, 2012.
 
On-site registration begins Friday, July 20, from 1:00 to 6:00 pm, with a reception following that from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
 
A block of rooms have been reserved at the Ramada Inn Downtown, under the code "IBEW". The rate is only $79 per night, plus tax and parking is $3 a day. Please keep in mind that there is no street parking available.

6th Annual IBEW Solidarity Ride


In what is quickly becoming an IBEW tradition, the 6th Annual IBEW Solidarity Ride will take place in majestic Rapid City, SD on Sunday, August 5, 2012.

Check in starts at 10 a.m. Sunday morning, with coffee and donuts at the IBEW Local 1250 Union Hall, 922 1/2 E. St. Patrick Street. The poker run starts at high noon, starting from the hall. After a day full of riding, there will be a fantastic barbecue supper beginning at 5:30 p.m. Door prizes and ride winners are announced at 6:30 p.m.

The Shade Valley Resort, just outside of Sturgis, SD, will be offering IBEW members a 10 percent discount on camping and cabins. For more information on lodging with them, call 605-347-5556 or visit www.shadevalley.com.

Registration is $30, and passengers can buy a hand for $20.
